IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT ORDERS TO EU COUNTRIES.
Deliveries to EU member countries now attract a VAT/TVA charge at that country’s rate. Please be aware that this is an extra amount that you will be charged and asked to pay to whoever delivers the parcel to you. This VAT / TVA charge is the same amount as you would be charged if you bought the book in your country.
Shippers are also making an additional admin charge to customers for the collection of this VAT / TVA. This varies from country to country and we do not know in advance how much this might be. Most charges seem to be between €5.00 to €10.00 in addition to any VAT which is due, though higher rates may be charged in some countries.
We can not refund the VAT but If you are charged an admin fee then we will refund an amount of up to €10.00 per parcel towards these admin costs. To claim this you should email us a photo showing the charge label attached by the shipper or by customs. This amount will then be speedily refunded to you (up to the maximum of €10.00) with the same payment method that you used.
PLEASE NOTE that if your parcel is delivered and you refuse to accept delivery or to pay the charges then the book will be returned to us and we will be charged for that by the shippers. In these circumstances we will only refund you the cost of the book (once we have received it back) and not the cost of shipping it out to you.
This situation is unlikely to change over the next few months. We do, however, hope that it will eventually be resolved, possibly in July when changes to the EU VAT system are to be introduced.
WE ARE ADVISED THAT THE CURRENT RATES OF VAT ARE
